Assembly on the occasion of International Human Rights Day 2025, under the theme \u201cHuman Rights: Our Everyday Essential\u201d, hosted by the National Human Rights Commission of Thailand (NHRCT). The exhibition took place at Vayupak Hall 3\u20134, Centara Life Government Complex Hotel &amp; Convention Centre, Chaeng Watthana, Lak Si District, Bangkok.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The exhibition presents key concepts, principles, and experiences from internationally recognized human rights cities, including <strong>Vienna, Lund, York, and Gwangju<\/strong>, while also reflecting the challenges faced by Thai cities. These challenges include social inequality, access to public services, civic participation, and the protection of vulnerable groups within urban development processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A central feature of the exhibition is the interactive activity <strong>\u201cHuman Rights City Builder: Our Rights in Our City.\u201d<\/strong> Participants are invited to observe a model city that lacks public participation in policymaking and urban planning, where rights violations occur in everyday life. Examples include excessive noise beyond legal limits, factories and waste sites causing water pollution, or schools located near areas associated with drug-related activities. After identifying these urban issues, participants actively design their own vision of a human rights city on a worksheet and engage with infographics illustrating the <strong>30 human rights articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR)<\/strong>. Participants are asked to identify the top three rights most strongly reflected in their city designs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Findings from the activity reveal that <strong>the right to education<\/strong> was identified as the most important right by participants. The results also indicate that the majority of participants were <strong>youth and students<\/strong>, highlighting the strong interest of younger generations in rights-based urban development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This exhibition aims to encourage members of the public, youth, local authorities, civil society organizations, and other stakeholders to collectively raise questions, recognize their roles, and become aware of the power of participation in shaping the direction of their cities. Through this process, the exhibition seeks to promote urban development that respects human dignity, upholds justice and transparency, and leaves no one behind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through the activities, the research team successfully achieved its objectives of enhancing participants\u2019 awareness of human rights, as well as strengthening their sense of agency in proposing public policies and designing living spaces. These outcomes constitute an essential foundation for strengthening democracy and advancing decentralization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Because a good city is one where everyone has rights, has a voice,
