คณะผู้วิจัยได้จัดกิจกรรมเชิงมีส่วนร่วม “Human Rights City Builder: สิทธิของฉันในเมืองของเรา ” เพื่อเปิดพื้นที่ให้เยาวชน นักเรียน และผู้เข้าร่วมกว่า 150 คน ได้เรียนรู้แนวคิดเมืองสิทธิมนุษยชนผ่านกระบวนการเรียนรู้แบบเกม (game-based learning) ผู้เข้าร่วมได้สังเกตปัญหาเมืองจำลอง วิเคราะห์การละเมิดสิทธิในชีวิตประจำวัน และร่วมออกแบบเมืองในอุดมคติของตนเอง โดยเชื่อมโยงกับสิทธิมนุษยชนตามปฏิญญาสากลว่าด้วยสิทธิมนุษยชน (UDHR)
ผลจากกิจกรรมสะท้อนว่า “ความปลอดภัย” และ “สิทธิในการศึกษา” เป็นประเด็นที่ผู้เข้าร่วมให้ความสำคัญมากที่สุด ขณะเดียวกันยังปรากฏความต้องการเมืองที่เสมอภาค เปิดพื้นที่การมีส่วนร่วม และเอื้อต่อคุณภาพชีวิตในทุกมิติ กิจกรรมดังกล่าวช่วยเสริมสร้างความตระหนักรู้ด้านสิทธิมนุษยชน เสริมพลังให้ประชาชนเห็นบทบาทของตนในการออกแบบเมืองและนโยบายสาธารณะ และวางรากฐานสำคัญของประชาธิปไตยและการกระจายอำนาจในระดับเมือง ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับเป้าหมายของโครงการเมืองสิทธิมนุษยชนในการพัฒนาเมืองสำหรับทุกคนอย่างยั่งยืน

The research team organized an interactive activity titled “Human Rights City Builder: My Rights in Our City” to create a participatory space for youth, students, and more than 150 participants to learn about the concept of a Human Rights City through a game-based learning approach. Participants observed problems in a simulated city, analyzed human rights violations in everyday life, and collaboratively designed their own ideal city, linking their ideas to human rights principles as set out in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR).
The outcomes of the activity indicate that “safety” and “the right to education” were the issues most highly prioritized by participants. At the same time, there was a clear aspiration for cities that are equitable, provide spaces for participation, and support quality of life in all dimensions. The activity contributed to raising awareness of human rights, empowering participants to recognize their role in shaping cities and public policies, and laying an important foundation for democracy and decentralization at the city level. These outcomes align with the objectives of the Human Rights City project, which seeks to promote the development of inclusive and sustainable cities for all.
